Our Vision and Values
Community Impact
Mozurban has made a substantial impact in the community through various initiatives, most notably the Broiler Training Centre. Launched in 2024, this center has empowered over 106 participants with practical skills in poultry production and financial management. Our focus on female empowerment and small-scale farmer development has fostered economic growth and self-sufficiency in the region. By providing free training, we are not only enhancing agricultural practices but also contributing to the broader goal of food security in Mozambique.
Overcoming Challenges
Operating in the agricultural sector presents numerous challenges, and Mozurban is no stranger to these. In 2023, we faced a significant biosecurity threat with an outbreak of Avian Influenza, resulting in the loss of 45,000 birds. Despite this setback, our commitment to resilience and innovation has never wavered. We have implemented stringent biosecurity measures to prevent future outbreaks and ensure the health of our flocks.
Economic factors also pose challenges, with fluctuations in foreign currency availability impacting our operations. However, Mozurban continues to adapt by investing in local resources and strengthening our supply chains. Our dedication to overcoming these obstacles is driven by our mission to support Mozambique’s food security and economic development.
Meet Our Team
Our team is the backbone of Mozurban’s success, bringing expertise and passion to every aspect of our operations. Their dedication and hard work have been instrumental in our growth and impact.
